@ahasty @ati1 @linmob You should be able to use #Thunderbird for #PGP encrypted email (with mobile-config-thunderbird), or webmail instance that supports it like #SnappyMail or any other webmail using #Mailvelope extension in Firefox.

Not sure about #YubiKey, #NitroKey or alternatives as I've never used any, but they should connect to the Librem's USB-C port. The #Librem5 has a slot for a PGP smart card ( #LibremKey ?) to store private keys so you could also use that. Hopefully, someone who's used that can see your question and answer, or you can ask in Purism forums or pmOS Matrix room.

Signal selected Google Gmail as their email provider.

Consider asking for a public PGP encryption key if you are concerned about Google accessing the content of your message, this can provide end-to-end encryption of the message content but the metadata will be available to Google.

Signal: Please publish a key on your website.

@lns Should but they never will, with good reason. They don't really need to, for email encryption at least there's #DeltaChat that non-technical people have a better chance of learning. Yes, it only uses a subset of #PGP called #Autocrypt, but if you really want to use PGP, there are much better tools than #GPG like: #Thunderbird, #Mailvelope and #Kleopatra. I know some of these are front-ends for GPG.

Mailvelope is a browser extension for email encryption via webmail clients.

Compatible with clients such as Gmail and Roundcube.

Supports client-side encryption via PGP/GPG.
Supports Firefox, Edge, and Chrome browsers.
