Krijg je zoveel e-mailberichten per dag dat je er gek van wordt en staat er constant een gigantisch getal op je appicoon? Je kunt hier iets aan doen, door je Mail-app zo in te stellen dat je alleen meldingen en badges van belangrijke berichten te zien krijgt.

Is it just me, or Mail.app no longer supports creating message links to individual email messages* when dragging over Fantastical.app or Calendar.app? I have been using them for years, and now I cannot easily create them anymore…
Update while writing this: Just tried to drag an email message to Notes.app, and there I get the email subject styled with an hyperlink to the email, so I can use that to get the link and paste it elsewhere, but it is painful…

Anyone know if there are any tricks to avoid hi-res images blowing up the entire email when you use the Mac Mail app? Every time I embed a big image and send it to someone, by the time it comes back in a response, it messes up the entire email so much and doesn't fit the images to the viewport.
Maybe I need to start using a different email cIient?
Thunderbird für macOS
Ich hab nun auf dem Mac zur Thunderbird-Mail-App gewechselt. Ich war viele Jahre "zweigleisig" unterwegs und habe die beruflichen Email in der Apple-eigenen Mail-App gelesen und bearbeitet, für meine privaten Nachrichten hatte ich ein Abo für die Airmail-App (ca. 10 Euro/y). War Airmail auf dem Mac noch ganz ok, so hatte ich mit der Airmail iOS-App doch so meine Probleme. Und nachdem es nun eine Entwicklung für Thunderbird für iOS/iPhone gibt, möchte ich auch dort (sobald möglich) dorthin wechseln.

📧 which mail app are you using that isn't trying to use ai and supports multiple accounts? spark and canary both advertise being ai mail apps, airmail even has ai in the name!! lol. serious question though, what are you using if you are not using the default #mailapp of #ios?
Also als #MailApp für #Android kann ich guten Gewissens #FairEmail empfehlen.
Gibt es auch über #F-Droid zu beziehen, einige Funktionen sind aber kostenpflichtig. Dafür bekommt man aber eine from Scratch entwickelte sehr umfangreiche MailApp mit Fokus auf Datenschutz und Sicherheit.
