Homebrewed May Bock.
Just finished the last bit of my Maibock. Brewed in December to drink in May and finished just before December. A whole one year circle. Now to decide if I brew another one. I think I likely will, but maybe at a far lower ABV. Just can’t drink the high octane stuff too often.
My home brewed Maibock going in to the lamb shanks as the braising liquid today.
It is 1 May here in NZ so time to try the Maibock
Double decoction and 100% Perle hops
First pour so got some yeast off the bottom but it tastes stunning.
