Yesterday evening's #littleBits jam of the day #theWorkshop
A short, frenetic, and quite noisy #littleBits jam of the day. Believe or not, I set up to try to cover Autechre's VLetrmx21 today, gave up halfway through, and ended up with this hot mess.
#littleBits jam of the day for 2024-01-14, going for a dancier vibe and featuring the Bleep Drum Module for some high-frequency clicks!
First #littleBits live-recorded jam in a verrrrry long time!
After realizing that all that my littleBits needed to work right was a bit of sanding on the edge connectors to remove the oxydation, they're a lot of fun to come back to!

For #EngineersDay at #UKY this Saturday, I have created a demo using #Sphero #LittleBits. Both circuits do the same thing. They simulate a fridge circuit: If the switch opens, light goes on. If the door is open too long, an alarm goes off. If the temperature gets too high, another alarm goes off. The traditional circuit (on the bottom) uses a lot of elements and is expensive and hard to change. The microcontroller circuit has a lot fewer elements and can be changed via software.
