I don’t have a “before” pic but this skillet that someone left by the trash at my old place had perfect seasoning, but this dummy left a plastic spatula in it which melted and firmly glued itself to the pan.

Last month I put it in the oven and ran the self-cleaning cycle which stripped everything off including the little lump of plastic. It’s now re-seasoned beautifully. #LittleThings
