installing linux version of chrome browser on chromeOS via the terminal
1:
"wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb" (without the quotes)
2:
sudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
3. Fix Dependencies: If you encounter any dependency issues, use the following command:
sudo apt-get -f install
#linuxchromebrowser
#chromedebian
#debianchrome
#chromebook
#linuxchromeonchromebook
this is essentially android 15 private space but for chromeos (a separate partition inside of a single user space, in addition to the actual multiple user profiles which are better but sometimes you need access to a separate user space while inside of a single user space)
so i could add the hashtag
obviously actual user profiles are better than private space, but sometimes you need to access one of those user profiles inside of a single user space
#privatespace
#android15
#android15privatespace
for example, my premium gemini account is attached to userB. I have a dual google umbrella account setup
google umbrella account A
and
google umbrella account B
I actively avoid mixing the data between the two umbrella accounts
that's why multiple users makes the most sense
however,
gemini advanced is attached to google umbrella account B, and i'd like to access it when signed into google umbrella account A.
So, with the linux version of chrome, i'll install a white list extension, (i guess except for all the ones that are manifest V2, ...i don't see many manifest v3 ones.
can someone please make a whitelist extension for chrome browser thats on manifest v3.
