I am more convinced than ever that #LightNoFire is soon to arrive and that this expedition leading up to 10th year anniversary may be more than it currently appears.
Been noodling this and watching the lore releases slowly align in this direction for a few years now... so if I am off in the weeds, I'll be delighted for it, because it looks like a smooth walk in from here.

My theory is that #lightnofire will launch at the 10th year anniversary of #nomanssky and that the event currently running is the mechanism by which they will migrate people from one game to the other.
I have a rather extensive lore explanation (that a couple of nerds online have lifted from my old reddit posts over time), but I’m laying claim here as it looks like we might be almost there.
It is the required faction that is causing me to assert that we are very close.
