I haven't done or checked the expedition progress recently (I've done 18 sets if that's acceptable), but it's only at 48% which if it's on a timer, will only give around 7-10 days to complete it, which will upset even more players than this has already.

If it's not, and people drop away, Hello Games may have to rig it.

Did today's expedition tasks earlier but ran into a glitch on a purge mission after dying in combat. I couldn't remove all the pieces, I'm guessing as it no longer counted the first one you remove.

After doing the other two, using the coil eventually cleared it.

Well as far as you can. I've done today's three missions to build the Prismatic Core.

I like the idea of a short expedition then daily tasks, but I think people would rather just keep playing.

Probably a Light No Fire mechanic test.

I took a couple of images of the cuddly bears on the first planet of this expedition. Don't like those eyes though.

I made it to the third task of phase 2 in about an hour's play.

I did almost die to the first swarm of drones though, which isn't a good sign.

So I've decided to start this expedition on my own as usual anyway, and supposedly everyone wants to be on clan Royal. Don't know why.

I just answered the questions for myself - and got Royal.

Also I do like the cuddly bears that run around on this starter planet. Probably forget to come back again though.
