Hi there @bookstodon , I just finished "Klara and the Sun" this morning and wow, this book will be living in my head for a while. So good. Elegantly plain language, a memorable narrator, and so much emotional complexity - #recommendedread #booklove #leseratte #bücherwurm #librophile

What are you reading?

I read between 100 and 150 books a year but I still miss some that everyone else has read. This may be from stubbornness, not wanting to jump on a bandwagon (Yes, I have this issue sometimes.), or possibly just lack of interest at the moment.

For whatever reason, I haven't read "Anne of Green Gables." It is available and I'm bored so it's now getting opened.

It's a strange feeling to be following everyone else's path, 40 years later. I am laughing at myself.

If the #SuperBowl ain't your jam, might I suggest a good book? Right now, I'm reading The Dictionary of Lost Words (by Pip Williams), and I'm really enjoying it.
@bookstodon what are you reading? Anything good?

Molly the Maid, Neurodiversity, and Moral Flexibility

I just finished reading The Maid by Nita Prose, a Canadian writer and editor. I want to talk about it.

Hey #bookstodon , have you come across any books with misleading and / or bad blurbs? Please share!
I just finished Wole Soyinka's "Chronicles from the Land of the Happiest People on Earth" and.. that book has a misleading blurb with a big spoiler. Wish I hadn't read the blurb. (Good book, though. More on that later.)
