@yora I say this because we do have a few open source games that still use proprietary software for asset production. And also because there are platforms for creativity which are very much proprietary platforms like Fortnite, Roblox and Minecraft. With Quake and Half-Life being blessed by publishers accepting of the modding communities, the core assets are still proprietary. #LibreQuake is an answer, but I think we can do something truly original. I certainly have ideas in this area...

#LibreQuake es sensacional. Tras terminar el Episodio 1, he empezado el 4 y no sé por qué, pero me recuerda mucho al sexto mundo de Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.

Wanted to play the new #qbj3 on my Steam Deck (already tried the standalone in Win)

I had already installed #LibreQuake in here (which includes Ironwail), so I only had to download the mod files and voilà, it plays seamlessly

Got surprised because this has rumble and gyro controls too, very cool!

Hace unas horas se ha publicado la beta 0.09 de LibreQuake, un clon libre del Quake original, el cual puede jugarse con cualquier motor libre de Quake, como vkQuake o FTEQW.

Entre sus cambios:
* Cambios en varios mapas, así como añadir algunos de los mapas multijugador faltantes
* Nuevas texturas, animaciones y otros cambios de los modelos.
* Se han regrabado algunos sonidos y añadidos otros
