I have a minifree x200 and I've always had trouble nailing the correct distro to install. I just went along with whatever config (grub, root partition format...) the installer of trisquel/devuan would work. Up until recently

I'm not sure where to look at, but I'm a CS longtimer willing to learn. It _seems_ that libreboot is not recognizing the root-and-also-boot partition format, though it recognizes my separate /home xfs partition as such

This is such a good thread, but of all the replies and quote toots, no one has mentioned #coreboot #libreboot

Of course there are very old and limited number of boards that can run these, and i'm wondering if this could give a boost to more boards being supported.

Just curious, what's the status of #LibreBoot with regard to battery thresholds?

I recall on my X200, tp-smapi wasn't supported. Has that changed on newer machines?
