No #Roadlies ticket machine at the station and the #Renfe machine was asking for the best part of €14 for the trip. The woman at the ticket counter was able to issue a free bono, though.

The train and the platform may be at the same height but it's not exactly #LevelBoarding here. Now to see what the speed restrictions and so on have in store for the journey up to Barna.

A good ten to fifteen centimetres between the train and the platform at Bologna Centrale. Certainly not #LevelBoarding in spite of the intention. Someone had to help another passenger with their buggy.

Turns out I'm on a Rock to Bologna. Does it count as #LevelBoarding with a gap like that? The interior colour scheme is not as busy as the other double decker from Saturday. #Interrail

I must say the TER Grand Est trains are much more comfy and cleaner than the German ones, but on the other hand, the timetables could be better (like when two services run approximately every 2 hours, why don't they connect neatly 😐)

And regarding the Nancy #Gadgetbahn, its replacement is probably for the best. The attaching & detaching process from the guiding rail is so slow, for no benefit to be experienced. The only actual downside I see soon, is #LevelBoarding, as the "trams" are currently perfectly aligned to the stops, unlike buses or when detached from the guiding rail. Unfortunately Nancy decided against rebuilding the system as a real tram, and opted for trolleybuses instead.
