Every night lately, on the path twixt man cave & house, there's been a big leopard slug sitting there. Always in the same spot, just 20cm this way or that.

Is it the same slug, lonely, just wanting a chat? Is it a secret army of slugs, crossing enemy territory one by one, plotting, waiting for the day they meld together & become Leopard Slug Man & sort that bastard shining a torch in my eyes good & proper, you mark my words, sonny-jim.

I, for one, welcome our slimy overlords.

Pretty hefty snail sex over here this morning from two leopard slugs. The pale stuff hanging out below are both their reproductive organs emerging from their heads 😳
