Family Guy Star Wars parody - "It's A Trap!"

I have been busy with work and posting on here isn’t ideal, so I apologize about this belated post.. for May 4th.

Family Guy and The Mandalorian got me back into Star Wars, and when I saw the parody of Endor, I knew I had to create a scene. Albeit not the perfect representation of Endor, it’s a forest moon, so, I made a lush forest. I was going to use the mountain bikes, but I wanted to keep the same colors, so I opted for the regular bicycles. I had to order a few figs, but I think I did good? I would love to expand the build a slight bit to make it grander and include “Han’s part” along with PeeWee Herman’s part. We’ll see what happens, until then, enjoy.

One is never satisfied with their work and always need to revamp it. Well, this one was quite cumbersome and fickle. I stitched together a few things from my Live that came from frustration. I was beyond frustrated, and nothing was working. I use LEGO as an escape from reality, but when it crumbled, I crumbled. You can see how angry I got… I went back the next day and threw the build together, with more insight and structural integrity. 3 hours later the build was finalized!

As my friend says, “It’s some sort of Gigeresque entity co-opted the classic space aesthetic for its own uses.”

Veinhart Soul Engine and Swarm Core - The Resurrection

I know y’all are probably tired of seeing this build come up on your feeds, but I just wanted to show it off one last time. Currently the build is dismantled and I am prepping it for transport to Brickbash Ann Arbor and Brickworld Indy. I received a lot of gripe and disdain towards me posting this revamped version. Mainly due to the fact it was just posted a month prior, saying that it was complete. A lot of the other comments were about how you can’t tell what it is or its “just a mess of parts.” I just have to remember my monolithic builds require at least a video minimum. In person would be the best way to hopefully understand and appreciate them. However, I guess there were enough upvotes for Beyond The Brick to pick up the post and share it, so that’s something? This will be the last time I post this build until I decide what I will do with it later on. This build is my masterpiece and brings me a lot of joy. I also need to revamp the story behind the build as well.

"Vincent van Gogh - La Nuit Étoilée" (2022)

Finalement ! Un an après l'avoir reçu en cadeau d'anniversaire par des amis, je me suis enfin lancer dans son montage.
Ce set est bien entendu une recréation de l'un des tableaux les plus célèbres de l'Histoire de l'Art : "La Nuit Étoilée" de Vincent van Gogh. Proposé via la plateforme LEGO Ideas par un créateur amateur et ayant recueilli au moins 10 000 votes par la communauté, LEGO a examiné sa proposition et l'a finalement produit.

Son montage m'aura pris environ 5h, en essayant de ne pas trop traîner. Ce modèle comme celui de la Grande Vague d'Hokusai a des étapes un peu redondantes et donc où le fun du montage est moins présent.
Mais le rendu final est vraiment sympa. J'aime particulièrement les petits dômes peints représentant les étoiles. D'ailleurs ces pièces avec cette couleur ne sont présentes que dans ce set, alors que LEGO essaye normalement de réutiliser au maximum des pièces existantes (forme et couleur)
