Hey, this turned out alright! Aesthetically, anyway. The structural integrity of this baby is NonExist. I had to hand-sew some holes that popped out of the seams — but it looks great from a distance!
Recently I found somewhere you can buy 10kg of mystery fabric for £20.00 (they ship internationally).
As a #BeginnerSewer I've been struggling to find affordable fabric I felt comfortable practising on.
So I did an unbagging video showing what I got. I have a referral code for £5.00 off if you want to try them out (I would also get £5.00 off, but I have plenty at the moment.)
Here's the vid if you want an idea of what they do https://youtu.be/seRlgXyrrZw
I saw a friend of mine had made sock dogs, and I have a butt ton of worn out socks (and wanted a fun project while #LearningToSew) so I made Dot.
She’s a little wonky, but she’s frickin cute!
Weirdly there comes a point in toy making where it begins to feel a bit violent, around when she got a head and became a she… or is that just me?

@kiwi great idea. I'm a novice sewer too. Just made a load of Christmas tote bags to use as wrapping instead of paper.
