Agi: I testimoni al processo: "Maradona aveva smesso i farmaci per l'ipertensione"

AGI - In Argentina prosegue il processo per accertare eventuali responsabilità per la morte di Diego Armando Maradona. Secondo una testimonianza resa martedì, l'ex calciatore avrebbe smesso di assumere farmaci per l'ipertensione poco prima della sua morte, avvenuta il 25 novembre 2020. A rendere testimonianza due medici che lo hanno curato in una clinica privata prima del decesso.
La morte del pibe de oro, secondo l'autopsia, è stata causata da "edema polmonare acuto in un paziente con cardiomiopatia cronica aggravata da insufficienza cardiaca". Uno dei punti centrali dell'accusa nel processo per determinare la causa della sua morte è dimostrare che Maradona soffriva di patologie cardiache preesistenti che il suo team medico, anch'esso sotto processo, ha trascurato.
La terapia antipertensiva di Maradona
Nella sua testimonianza di martedì, il cardiologo Oscar Franco, che ha curato Maradona presso la clinica privata Ipensa nella città di La Plata il 2 settembre 2020, ha affermato che all'epoca la stella assumeva un farmaco per l'ipertensione chiamato Losartan.
I farmaci assunti prima del decesso
Marcos Correa, il medico che curò Maradona il 2 novembre di quell'anno nella stessa clinica, ha sottolineato nella sua testimonianza di martedì che, esaminando i farmaci che il campione stava assumendo quel giorno, trovò tre farmaci psichiatrici ma nessuno per l'ipertensione.

I due testimoni che hanno deposto martedì si sono riferiti a Luque, il principale imputato nel processo, come al "medico personale di Maradona", un'affermazione corroborata da numerosi testimoni durante il procedimento che hanno usato termini come "medico responsabile" o "medico curante", ma che la difesa del neurochirurgo nega.

Oltre a Luque, tra gli imputati in questo caso figurano la psichiatra Agustina Cosachov, lo psicoanalista Carlos Díaz, la dottoressa Nancy Forlini, coordinatrice di Swiss Medical, il medico Pedro Di Spagna, il coordinatore infermieristico Mariano Perroni e l'infermiere Ricardo Almirón.
