@apc And here's my entry for Hidden Gems... a Korean animation called "Copyright Infringement: The Animation!" Oh wait, I meant "DEFENDERS OF SPACE". It's a seriously corny so-bad-it's-good mash up of knock-off Gundam, Transformers, and some other super-robot things. It's rare and I only ever found an English dub. And it's just hilarious, if you can find it.

I just watched the first episode of the animated adaptation of #TrueBeauty. Why does it feel like I watched episode 1 on 1.5x speed πŸ˜‚. But in all seriousness, I think that they adapted the #webtoon well. (The pacing needs to slow down a bit but that’s just me.)
Now I kind of want to reread it.

Was in the mood for something weird, so I watched Satellite Girl and Milk Cow again, which is definitely weird (in a Katamari Damacy kind of way), but also cute. KITSAT-1 (aka Il-ho) is adorable.

I don’t know much about the Korean animation scene, other than for at least a quarter of a century now, the animation for most cartoons from the US seems to be done there. But if stories like Satellite Girl and Milk Cow are what is coming from domestic Korean animation, I’d be curious to see more.
