Von Bits zu Brillanz: Gemeinsam mit Gästen aus Wissenschaft, Forschung, Politik und von Partnerunternehmen feierten wir gestern 25 Jahre nationales Hochleistungsrechnen am LRZ.
Bei einem Festakt am Vormittag und einem wissenschaftlichen Symposium am Nachmittag wurden technische Meilensteine anerkannt und die exzellente Forschung gewürdigt, die durch Supercomputing erst möglich wird.

If you're a researcher based in #Bavaria and working with or developing code, especially if it runs on #hpc systems: Apply for #konwihr funding to get into contact with experts to tune your applications! Best of all: your salary is covered for that time, allowing you to really focus on the code!
I did this during my PhD and it was one of the best decisions ever.
