Can anyone point me at some good resources for learning how short rows work? Like how their placement affects the shaping of the fabric?

I want to use them in a self “designed” project but I have that thing where I can’t picture things in my head so I’m really struggling to start from a blank page. TYIA

Every now and then I see cool vintage computerized knitting machines and think it would be cool to get one to create generative knits but I’m a complete n00b to knitting. I like the idea of modern solutions to vintage knitting machines.

@knitting day 8 of #kntting my #FayeSummerTop: worked on the finishing elements like the collar and sleeves, and I’m so pleased with how neat they turned out. I also love the way Irene Lin designed the wavy flared sleeves. I have such a short torso that I might finish this tomorrow or the day after.

Gave in and ordered some Katrinkles labels, they really are a wonderful finishing touch to the #kntting. This hat was supposed to go in the gift box, instead it ended up on the Big Little.
