One of my favorite moments with #Mellie.

She is resting right next to me on the couch. After a long walk in the rain, she is tired.

I think she still has #pain 3 weeks after her #operation, when walking, but trying not to give her too much meds.

Had to trim her fur because it was getting too long, dirty and stinky. I think I over did it.
She wouldn't stand still & I had a hard time keeping her down.

But it will grow again. She is recovering well from the #operation.

Took the cone off Mellie for the first time since Saturday visit to the local vet.

She has an infection on the inner thigh where the bandaid was.

Putting cortisone cream on it 3 times a day and it seems to be working.

First night is over. She slept on the mattress i put on the floor.

She hates the cone because it prevents her from going to all her hiding spots.

After some struggling, she managed to turn around and laying down on her little corner cushin.

We went for a short walk to the park, she walk on 3 and we stopped 3 times on the way and back. She did her business and came home. Gave her some kebab and treats and some dried banana chips, now she is resting again.
