Crowley writes at some length about Point, Line, Plane and Solid as the basis for reality in Qabalah. He reminds me of Wassili Kadinsky, who is one of the forefathers of modernism, and modern design. He had similar theory about Point, Line and Plane; Here's one of his watercolour paintings.
At a record-breaking auction in London, a painting by Russian master Wassily Kandinsky depicting the Bavarian village of Murnau was sold for £37.2m. The painting heralded Kandinsky's move towards abstract art.
It had been stolen by the Nazis, who killed its owner in the Auschwitz concentration camp in 1944.
The 1910 work, titled Murnau mit Kirche II (Murnau with Church II), which had been discovered in a museum in Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
