Well, this is good news for journalists. YouTube has granted access to its AI deepfake detection tool. I do think, however, we need to democratize deepfake detection. It's a bit exasperating to have to rely on Big Tech for access. There really needs to be an open source deepfake tool. Perhaps there is, but I honestly don't know. (Fediverse, you got some good leads?)
