#JorgeEdwards has passed away today 2023 Mar.17 at the age of 91.
Edwards, who was Chilean, rubbed shoulders in France with writers from the so-called #LatinAmerican novel Boom, but he has nothing to do with them, neither in style nor in themes of his concern.
His popularity grew when the then dictator #FidelCastro expelled him, something that served for his book #PersonaNonGrata
In 1994 he received National Prize for Literature in Chile and in 1999, Cervantes Award.
