It's #HeartUnions week, so here's me encouraging you to #join_a_union if you haven't already.

Even if you think you don't qualify for membership because you're only on hourly contracts (as I did for ages), ask anyway. Collective bargaining and organising ensures job security, better wages, safer work environments, and the safeguarding of your rights as a worker.

The #WorkingClass don't look like my great-grandad & uncles any more...but, whatever they look like today, there are still those who would steal their £ value and restrict/remove their rights.
