Never had the incentive of actually setting up PGP for my personal mail account. Now, I am trying to setup everything accordingly, and I guess to this day there are still too many reasons "why Johnny can't encrypt".

If someone wants to share a setup they are using, please give me a nudge. I have my key-pair for OpenPGP, but my mail client #Thunderbird makes it inconvenient for other's to read it due a) base64 encoding the mail, and b) attaching the encrypted part as a file, instead of it being a MIME part.

I am grateful for anyone who is eager to share their setup on how they ensure encrypted mails.

#mail #pgp #openpgp #johnnycanencrypt

The #johnnycanencrypt repository has a branch called "touch_me".
I can not build proper #manylinux wheels for #johnnycanencrypt, my #python module written in #rustlang which talks to smartcards because different #Linux distributions have different libpcsc* versions and they don't like each other.
