and I should say since fandom can be a bit um dense: if you look at the "AMC Connect" site for a single second and use your brain about it, this is VERY OBVIOUSLY NOT something that Sam Reid was individually hired to do. I realize it's fun and easy to cancel actors and unfun and difficult to figure out how to respond as a fan to a media landscape where your very fandom is the product being sold to, as the promo video says, "All Brands Welcome," but come on now.
yeah everyone loves to see their characters appear in ads for products whose owners funnel millions of dollars to the IDF. fandoms famously respond really well to that.
