- whew, that was so good. The casting, the little twists in tone and genre, the cinematography, the complicated narrative. I think Anne Rice would have appreciated what they did with her canon.
- I could have done with about 50% less Theatres des vampires, but that goes for any adaptation.

I hated the Theatre Des Vampires in the book, hated them in the film, and guess what: I still hate them now. They're so cheesy and unnecessary in everything they do. I didn't quite hate Armand as much with the other versions as I do with the show though. There's something about him here that is so unpleasant. Louis feels like bait, or a toy, not an equal.
