I'm glad the Liberals won instead of Conservatives, and I'm crossing my fingers they can manage to get a majority, but I'm disappointed that in a moment of panic we chose an old, white, male banker to lead us.

For anyone still waking up or who live outside Canada, the Liberals under Mark Carney won our election. Votes are still being counted and it's uncertain if the Liberals have a majority or minority. Pierre Pollievre lost in his riding.
It's looking like a minority, but advanced votes have yet to be counted in most places and its worth noting Pollievre is second place in his riding still

This is the weirdest nail biter election I've ever watched. Conservatives and Liberals are both gaining, Liberals are down in Ontario but still in the lead, and Pollievre is behind in his riding despite the Conservative surge.

Liberals are leading in 22 seats in Atlantic Canada, Conservatives 10. Double digit for Conservatives is considered bad for Liberals, but 10 is low enough to not really be a victory for either.

As a harm reduction advocate, drug policy has always been an important issue for me. I will never vote Conservative because of their heavy-handed and cruel approach to addiction. They don't think we're people.

This race is too unusual and close to know for sure what will happen, but it looks like the polls were mostly accurate, although they may have underestimated the increase in support for both Conservatives and Liberals.
