@dramypsyd one could setup an #InviteOnly #Server (i.e. therapists.medsocial.example ) and make Accounts approval-only and have the requesting users screened off-platform for their credentials...

They can then do #FollowerOnly-posts and set their account to "require approval for following" OR the entire server is fully defederated!
