**In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.** No Kings!Community Action Fair, March, and Peaceful Protest! 50501 Central Oregon, Indivisible Bend and Deschutes Youth Climate Coalition invite you to our community event Saturday June 14th as we join together to stand up against the authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration. He is using our tax dollars to throw himself a military parade while slashing critical services, defying our courts, deporting and disappearing people and enriching his billionaire allies and together we are standing up saying ENOUGH! We are outraged that: Civil rights are being attacked Costs are skyrocketing People are being abducted and disappeared Essential services are being gutted Free speech is threatened Trump thinks his rule is absolute—we have NO KINGS in America! Whatever disturbs you the most, this day is for you. Together we stand against the abuses of power, cruelty and corruption. Together we rally to remind Trump and his enablers: America has No King! Saturday June 14th we will assemble in Drake Park for a family friendly display of community impact and action items all of us can participate in to ensure our voices are heard. Following this will be a short march from Drake Park to Peace Corner for a peaceful protest. I got to take route 3 #inBend at ~7:30pm yesterday, my first time riding CET past 7pm since before the pandemic.
Schedules were just changed; buses now first leave Hawthorne at 6am and last at 7pm!
