@BrianJopek Dad had a stroke shortly before the 2020 election. Occasionally, despite COVID, I was able to visit him in the hospital. One day two nurses told me the same story:
A doctor was examining Dad and asked the usual questions--name, birthday, day of week--to assess his awareness. When the doctor asked who the President was, Dad said "I hope it's the other guy."
As it turned out, that was Dad's last witticism, and a good one!
