Chicago Public Media, parent org of @wbez.org and @ChicagoSunTimes, @chicagotribune, and the Better Government Association had counsel in U.S. District Court today to intervene "just in case" court transcripts in the Broadway Six hearing stayed sealed.

Spoiler alert: They did not, so no intervention.

The new Android 8.5 OS automatically enables a language interpreter, call screening functions without prompting the user.

Had I not manually checked and shut off these features, my microphone would have been left on and a voice other than mine would answer incoming calls and ask who was calling.
