Was just looking for a photo from a #Canada #Icefields trip years ago for my wife to paint as she learns watercolors.

Came across these. Let me set this up:

Wearing a bright RED shirt, we go hiking well off the beaten path, when we come upon a group of Bighorn Sheep.

I stood way WAY too close blasting away with my dSLR, and this PISSED bull was having no part of it.

I eventually realized I was about to become road kill for this wild animal on his home turf.

Backed. Away. Slowly.

Mistaya Canyon in Banff Nationalpark, Alberta, Canada is really something unique. I dare to say that I've seen some canyons and ravines but such a deeply dug in stream was new to me. Make sure to spend some time and enjoy the power of the water here.

Lake Peyto in Banff Nationalpark is really worth a visit. However, you need to know where you enjoy the view on this gem. The main view spots are crazy overcrowded.
