Foundation Models friends - in Singapore at #iosconfsg we had one attendee who had difficulty because two language settings were t the same- does anyone remember or know what those would be?

I had an amazing time at #iosconfsg. I learned so much amazing new stuff and also my apartment is now overflowing with Singapore snacks. 🀣

But by far. I think the slide that went the absolute hardest at the conference was this one by @fatbobman

I had a great time at iOS Conf SG last week! I really enjoyed chatting with so many developers in the iOS community, learning from other speakers, and sharing my SwiftUI talk. Big thank you to all the organizers and volunteers for such a great conference experience 🀩

I’ll pitch a talk next year

#iosconfsg

Koh Chin Wee got a huge round of applause when he announced the app he works on still runs on UIKitat #iosconfsg (another applause for Liquid Glass)
Penn and Teller do a Magic trick called cups and balls. The second half of the trick they do the trick again with clear cups while describing exactly what moves they are making and it's more magical. I felt that way at #iosconfsg when Peter Wong talked about CardReader. Waving your watch at a reader and paying for the subway or whatever is magical but when Peter showed how the code works underneath the trick only got better.
#iosconfsg This slide by Vu had everyone in splits :)

#iosconfsg Day 1 Highlights β€”

1. Game Development in SwiftUI by Kaylee Calderolla ( @kayleesdevlog )
- Creative, amazing, awesome sauce!

2. Making contactless transaction with CardSession by Peter Wong
- Complexity simplified, cool demo totally worth Β£500 ;)

3. Using SwiftUI as a Language by Xu Yang ( @fatbobman )
- Well-articulated language analogy for SwiftUI

Amazing talk by @fatbobman to close day one of #iosconfsg on speaking SwiftUI as a language delivered in a language (English) that he hasn’t actively spoken in 20 years. Stunningly good.
