Minisplits are the epitome of lock-in. #heatpump compressor fails? All new heads as well, unless you go with the same manufacturer and refrigerant. I don’t understand why air-to-water #hydronics aren’t more popular solely for this reason. Keep everything in your house the same and swap the compressor/monobloc.
