[P] Yep, I'm back to calling hiverarchy and its faceless parasites "it" again. It's a choice to be hiverarchy, to be a parasite who enables kid-killing monsters. If an entity makes the choice to be hiverarchy? That entity is a parasite, wnd therefore an it as far as I'm concerned. Sapient personhood has morality as a cornerstone, it can't fail such a basic fundamental and expect me to see it as a person, as oppoaed to some homunculus.

[P] Hiverarchy won't. I know they won't. It's why those parasites refer to those outside of hiverarchy as "morally rigid." But from where I sit? Being "morally rigid" is pretty cool. I dunno, I like being smug about making a solid effort to not be a monster. It makes me feel pretty good about myself, actually. It's not a hard choice, either. Only hiverarchy wants anyone to believe that because it's so attached to its own parasitic nature.

[P] What annoys me the most is the diseased little lies hiverarchy tells itself about this, as if it were some Herculean or Sisyphean (take your pick) task. It isn't. All you have to is choose, to make a choice, and try. Anyone can get fooled, but it's about making an effort to keep one's money out of the hands of monsters. The kinds of monsters who kill innocent kids for their shareholders. It ien't impossible, one need only choose to try.

[P] I live in fear myself, I get it. Any moment hiverarchy could turn its infested eye upon me and make my life a worse hell. So I understand wanting escapism. But here's the thing: You likely have a backlog. Even if you don't? Buy indies! You don't need to buy the latest hardware or tech, your old stuff is fine. If it breaks? Buy second-hand. Track where your money goes, keep it out of war research as best you can. Make the effort.
