On board with more house building. Perhaps, though, there need to be strengthened mechanisms to stop developers overstepping the bounds of their permissions.

As an example, a brownfield site behind our house has finally been built on and I’m pleased. What I’m less pleased about is the retrospective attempts by the developer to widen a bridge and thus weaken flood defences for existing properties.
