Yes, we're still having a heatwave, but it was a comfortable 75 or so when I went to #Yamari*, specializing in #GreenTea, and got this #MatchaParfait.

It's delicious, and pretty strong, as #Matcha should be. Only sweetness is from the #Azuki. There's #Shiratama (plain), #Chocolate (yum), #MatchaJelly and #MatchaSyrup, which are overpowered by the #SoftServe.

I'm a bit sad because I wanted #Houjicha #IceCream, which they don't make anymore.🥲

*Then I drove back...😬

Soothing, delicious #Houjicha roasted green #tea from #Japan is my favourite thing to drink. You whisk it to a froth (a calming ritual in itself) and it becomes rich, silky and lovely. This is a powdered Bōhōjicha variant which avoids a grassy taste that some lower grades can have. I love the set we got, personally collected with some parts gifted from my wife. All made in Japan by craftsmen. No brands. 🍵
