A D&D hook: Everybody in the region is hooked on a new substance that causes drug-like reactions. (high or low or manic or drunk or whatever). The party investigate, and ultimately discover that it is the perspiration of a specific person who it appears at first glance never sweats. However the perspiration is immediately magick'd away to a bottling facility where it is packaged and sold.

The main cleric in Sullesport (here in our game world) is named Father Marin. Might be spelled "Merrin." Sounds the same, anyway.

This week our characters are wandering around the Big City, likely gawking at sights and spending their hard-earned coins.

Otterdottar is likely to cool off in a fountain. I sure hope it's not illegal for her to do so.

She's also on the lookout for fresh oysters, which she knows she'll have to buy, but having been offered cooked ones last week, she's on a mission.

Our intrepid party (an ogre healer-priest type, a dog beastfolk warrior [inasmuch as a golden retriever can be], an orean rogue [like a clockwork golem but cooler], and my otter beastfolk rogue who loves swimming and playing games as much as taking things that aren't hers) are on their way to become guards for a shipping barge.

I know it won't be that simple. Not with us. And that's the cool part.
