[EN] There still was a wooden staircase leading up to the bridge. By 1900 it was replaced by more solid, stone stairs. To the right is the Amstel Hotel, partly visible.

[NL] Er was destijds nog een houten trap van de kade naar de brug. Rond 1900 werd er een stenen trap gebouwd. Rechts is een stukje van het Amstelhotel te zien.
