MaryanneWhen I say #historycomics what do you think of? Do you immediately think "comics about history" or "comics written in historical period" ... I'm trying to find the right language for what I'm looking at. Does it differ if I move the regional focus from #UShistory to #WorldHistory?
I never really did the #histodon #Introduction so here goes. My name is Maryanne Rhett, a Professor of #MiddleEast and #WorldHistory in NJ. My first book was on the #BalfourDeclaration and my second on #Islam in #comics. I am currently working on #ComicsHistoriography and #HistoryComics. I love the history of #Nationalism, #baking, and #hiking.
