I’d hazard a guess at 1870s, unlisted and zero sensitivity in converting it from a retail frontage to whatever. Peter BrownI see Historic Environment Scotland have seen fit to put Urquhart Castle on the front of their explorer pass. An excellent idea to promote a castle away from the central belt but Urquhart should have been their last choice as they already turn away hundreds of visitors per day.
