This past weekend, a group of women invited me to the MET to see the "Women Dressing Women" fashion exhibit.

15 years ago I would have assumed this invitation was a backhanded insult. I've had a very strained relationship with women & femininity throughout my life. I am grateful to have reached a place both where I can trust the amazing women who have recently entered my life, and also explore parts of femininity in a way that feels comfortable for me. 💕

It took me failing to correctly remove, & then catastrophically chipping away at 3 home-spun gel manicures before I invested properly in a removal procedure & tools that work without damaging the everloving fuck out of my nails, but I have finally accomplished the tools to both apply & remove gels, & intend to have awesome nails for the foreseeable future. 💅 #highfemme #genderfeelings
