in the KALEIDOSKOP book there are two stories of POPOV & ZKE: i borrowed the names from janosch (i really liked his story about an old man who dreams of flying. popov is best friends with a sleepyhead dormouse). POPOV & ZKE may look like funny fuffy friends, but they are naive humans who don't have an overview and whose actions are highly questionable. if you know the cartoon with sweaty planet earth getting its results from a doctor: "i'm sorry, but i have to tell you.... you have humans!" - this sums it up. i painted popov during artonale and also during a scholarship @kampnagel_hamburg with @brookodil @florianbreetzke3 @kalyanihemphill @1010zzz @gabedubois1981 @igor.maier82 and more 🤍
