Post 015: A Clean Sweep for Christmas
Subtitle: 50 states, 23 WPM, and owning my rookie mistakes.

I’ve shared my journey with you so far, and honestly, I have just about told you everything I have to say up to this point! This has been my life in radio. Hopefully, I’ll stay on track with my goals so I’ll have plenty more to share soon.

@AF0AJ

Anyone else see that HAMRS did an update to address the new POTA ISO naming convention? Nice.

So, I did it lol

I made a graph of my logging platforms/programs and the path my QSOs & QSLs take lol

it isn't the best quality but, hopefully it conveys what is happening lol

My first #POTA logs are in the books!

I may have only had 12 QSOs but I had enough to make the activation worth it.

#hamrs worked for the most part, but glitched a few times, thankfully I had paper logs as a backup!

I learned quite a bit and I am looking forward to my next activation!

I'll be writing up a summary with pictures on my #blog shortly 😀

Thank you to everyone who shared advice and who worked me ❤️

I hate logging software (use paper/pencil mostly) but looking at #HAMRS and I might just try it out. And... Ubuntu and Android versions! #hamradio
The #hamrs map from today.

I just confirmed that #WinterFieldDay ADIF logs created using the WFD template in the #HAMRS logging software can be directly imported into a WFD log opened in the #N1MM contest logger.

N1MM can then be used to generate a #Cabrillo version of the log.

This simplifies the process of converting logs into the required Cabrillo format for submission, and allows me to leave my laptop at home and log with HAMRS on my iPad or even the iPhone.
