Death on the Pale Horse - Gustave Dore

Another of these amazing Gustave Dore engravings. There's energy in everything's body like the end of the world is here, the time is at hand, and they can't wait to cross over and start causing trouble. He arranged everything perfectly imho. Maybe if Death was a skull-head I would have liked it a little more but maybe that would have ruined it, idk. Maybe it wasn't like that in his time.

I didn't bother to figure out what this relates to in which story. Something awesome and witchy and spooky is happening here, I know that. I think the book is supposed to be full of funny stories, I think there's a little dark humor happening here 👻 🦇 👹 🎃
