Roma, 3 giu. (Adnkronos) - "Il Grand Prix non sarà facile, ho sempre rispetto per gli avversari e saranno presenti tutti gli ultimi campioni olimpici. I nostri atleti non avranno vita facile”. Sono le parole di Angelo Cito, presidente della Fita, a margine della presentazione del Grand Prix di taekwondo al via domani a Roma. “Abbiamo delle carte da giocare, ma non è facile portare a casa la medaglia d'oro, ma guardiamo un incontro alla volta. Ogni sfida è una finale, possiamo sintetizzare così”, ha aggiunto Cito che ha poi concluso: “Sarà il primo torneo valevole per le qualificazioni olimpiche. È una gara molto complicata, gli atleti non perderanno occasioni per accaparrarsi dei punti”.

Rome, June 3 (Adnkronos) - “The Grand Prix will not be easy, I always have respect for the opponents and all the latest Olympic champions will be present. Our athletes will not have an easy time.” These are the words of Angelo Cito, president of the Fita, on the sidelines of the presentation of the taekwondo Grand Prix, which begins tomorrow in Rome. “We have some cards to play, but it’s not easy to bring home the gold medal, but we look at one match at a time. Every challenge is a final, we can synthesize it like this,” Cito added, concluding: “It will be the first tournament valid for Olympic qualifying. It is a very complicated competition, athletes will not miss opportunities to gain points.”
