Amazingly, Siri on a HomePod Mini is significantly more accurate, faster, and has a much less robotic voice than Google.
Siri also doesn’t start playing music on Spotify when asked to turn on the kitchen light, which happens pretty much every other day with Google.
I’m surprised at this result.
Apparently, if you mutter to yourself "ok, good, good" the #google assistant thinks that is close enough.

They changed the default hold power function to be a shortcut to Assistant, and this seems to be recommended on not just their Pixels, but other OEMs phones
I have to help non-tech people learn how to turn off their phone??? After they hijacked the default behavior from decades of hardware technology UX to juice their nonfunctional over engineered NLP voice timer?????
