Golf Stream, the only thing keeping Northern Europe habitable and mild, is shutting down.

No, not like "might shut down or change course".

And not in distant future (that we don't have to care about).

It may reach a tipping point in just a decade or two. IF we can't cut down emissions fast. And we can't. We won't.

Researchers have predicted the collapse of the AMOC could happen any time between 2025 and 2095 — far sooner than previous predictions, although not all scientists are convinced.
