@sergio_101 let me point out one giant PRO of an o/r mapper like #glorp : SQL
I’ve had so many „opportunities“ to correct data in production and sql is a great tool to do that.

@sergio_101 I admit the idea of simply forgetting about persistence sounds wonderful. My attempts at using #gemstone failed, mostly due to te fact that I miss using my ide for debugging more than I fell in love with the feel of gemstone. It’s a pity they haven’t agreed internally on what ide they want to offer and whether they want to do it at all.
So far, I have been using #glorp for almost 2 decades and both love and hate it…
